Twilight eclipse book Plot
The story begins with the revelation that Seattle, Washington, is being plagued by a series of murders. Which Edward suspects is caused by a new vampire who can not control his thirst for human blood. When Edward and Bella apply to colleges, Bella explains to Edward her desire to see her friend, Jacob Black, a werewolf.
Although Edward fears for her safety, Bella insists that neither Jacob nor her pack of werewolves would hurt her, and she starts visiting him from time to time. On one of these visits, Jacob tells Bella that he is in love with her, and he wants her to choose him instead of Edward, but Bella says he only sees him as a friend. Meanwhile, Alice Cullen has the vision that Victoria, a vampire who is searching for Bella in revenge for James’ death, has returned to Forks.
Alice takes Bella against her wishes for a sleepover. During the break, Bella learns more about Rosalie’s past that led to her eventual transformation into a vampire and her true reasons for treasuring humanity. Although being a vampire remains her desire, Bella finally agrees to rethink her decision. A few days later, Edward proposes marriage to Bella and, despite harboring an aversion to marriage, she accepts on condition that he makes love to her as long as she is human.
Bella and the Cullens soon realize that the Seattle murders are a commitment of newborn vampires, controlled by Victoria. The Cullens join forces with the werewolf pack to fight this threat, after failing to get their longtime allies, the Denali Coven, to help them. While everyone else is preparing for battle, Edward, Bella, and Jacob camp in the mountains, hidden during the battle, where they are later joining Seth Clearwater, a young member of the pack of wolves, to await the fight.
In the morning, Jacob gets angry when he hears Edward and Bella discussing their engagement and threatens to join the fight and kill each other. Bella stops Jacob by kissing him and realizes that she is also in love with him. During the battle, Victoria traces Edward’s scent to Bella’s forest hideout, and Edward is forced to fight. Edward manages to kill Victoria and his army of vampires destroy by the Cullens. Later, Bella explains to Jacob that, although she loves him, her love for Edward is much greater. The book ends with Bella proceeding to tell Charlie his intentions to marry Edward.
